Zhanibek Sydykov

Zhanibek is a partner at DSV and heads up the investment team.

Prior to co-founding DSV, Zhanibek’s prior experience included co-leading Amun Capital’s internet investment division (a CIS focused investment fund) and working on some of Central Asia’s largest TMT and financial sector transactions as an investment banker at Renaissance Capital (a leading emerging markets investment bank).

With over a decade’s experience of leading on tech investments in some of the fastest growing internet economies in the world, and having sat on boards ranging from early stage start-ups to market leaders across the globe, Zhanibek has helped power the rapid growth of tech businesses across some of the world’s most exciting emerging regions. Zhanibek received a summa cum laude Bachelor’s degree in Finance from KIMEP and is a graduate of the Renaissance Academy’s Finance and Markets Program.
